"The fact is... high achievers (in any field) who have coaches always achieve
more than those who don't."
- Jack Canfield, best selling author of The Success Principles
COACHING
In an ideal work environment, each employee would have a mentor, an accountability partner, a personal strategist, and a private cheerleader to help him or her set goals, work productively, achieve balance between career and personal life, and get ahead a little more each and every day.
(Of course, in an ideal work environment, your boss would exuberantly praise you on a regular basis, you'd never work more than 40 hours a week, and your company would routinely send you on all-expense-paid trips to a remote resort in Tahiti three weeks out of the year.  Sadly, chances are slim for the whole "ideal" thing.)
So what's the answer in the real world?  If you want to do better, have better, and be better, you can be - it just takes coaching.
Business coaching is like a personal trainer for your career.  Whether you work in a traditional corporate setting, are upper-echelon management, own the company, or are self-employed and work from home, Harmony can provide you with a tailored coaching program designed with your specific goals in mind.  Harmony's program will help you get focus and clarity, map out measurable and achievable steps, and determine your own path to make your career what you want it to be.
Harmony's business coaching services can take a variety of forms, depending upon our clients' needs and desires.  The majority of our individual clients are in the professional services arena (e.g., accounting, law, financial services, real estate, etc.), and we help them:
Improve performance in a current position
Track a plan for career advancement
Develop a new articulation of skills and experience for career transition
Formulate a personal branding/imaging campaign
Advance toward their career vision in a host of other ways
If your employer has a coaching program, good for them - take advantage of it! But if not, you can take responsibility yourself for the health of your career. You can improve your skills, learn new development strategies, and grow your own personal network no matter whose name is on the company letterhead.
Jim Rohn put it best. To paraphrase: If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. But if you want something you've never had before, you're going to have to do something you have never done before.
And Harmony can help you do exactly that.
